International Symposium on Sensorimotor Transformation

The symposium will focus on sensorimotor transformations and the role of internal world models in perception, action, and adaptation. It will bring together researchers from neuroscience, neurotechnology, artificial intelligence, and robotics to examine how biological and artificial systems integrate sensory information, construct predictive representations of the environment, and translate these representations into goal-directed behavior.

12th Biennial Neurizons Conference

This year we will welcome an exceptional group of scientists from the fields of Clinical Neuroscience, Molecular & Cellular Neuroscience, Systems & Cognitive Neuroscience, Theoretical & Computational Neuroscience, and Emerging Techniques in Neuroscience as our plenary speakers. Confirmed speakers include Yukie Nagai, Ilka Diester, Sheila Nirenberg, Frank Winkler, Pieter Roelfsema, Helen Barron, and others.

As in previous years, we will host Poster Sessions and Young Scientist Talks, providing early-career researchers with opportunities to present their work and engage with peers. The conference will also include a Career Fair, bringing together professionals who have built careers outside academia, as well as professional development workshops focused on navigating and succeeding both within and beyond academia.

Ribbon Synapses Symposium 2025

We would like to announce the upcoming Ribbon Synapses Symposium (RSS) 2019, a specialized international conference to be held in Göttingen, Germany on November 6th and 7th, 2025, right after the Descending Auditory Pathways Workshop in Delmenhorst. The RSS meeting is organized by the Collaborative Research Center 1690 and will be hosted at the City Campus of the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences.

This meeting aims to not only bring together experts in the field, who will present and discuss novel data and provide a detailed overview of the current state of the art of ribbon synapse research, but additionally provide a platform for young scientists to present their work in form of either an oral presentation and/or a poster.
